Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a VP Carrier and Captive Analytics to lead a team delivering enterprise intelligence across client portfolios. You will build governance, translate data into actionable insights, and partner with Operations, Finance, and Marketing to drive client value and growth.

The role emphasizes leading analytics strategy, scaling governance, and providing strategic direction for BI and client analytics while overseeing budget and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Ten years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
• PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
• Analytical and interpretive skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proven management/leadership skills.
• Ability to create and complete comprehensive, accurate and constructive written reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Carrier and Captive analytics strategy and roadmap, setting priorities, sequencing investments, and building a dedicated capability aligned to business and client needs.
• Establish the data and governance foundation required to scale Carrier and Captive analytics, including entity hierarchy, mappings, metric definitions, source logic, and integration with broader enterprise data, Finance, and technology initiatives.
• Build actionable operational and leadership insights, translating multi-account, multi-policy, and parent/child structures into trusted rollups, metrics, and decision tools.
• Use analytics to drive client value and growth, partnering across Operations, Client Services, Finance, and Marketing to translate performance into stronger stewardship, renewal, cross-sell, and ROI narratives.
• Responsible for directing a team that manages business analytics and pipeline.
• Responsible for developing and overseeing client relationship management enterprise solutions.
• Responsible for providing strategic direction for business intelligence, contact management system, and client base intelligence analytics.
• Oversees business and communications engagement analytics and presents information to business key holders.
• May oversee budget management for the business area.
