Job summary

Madison Hunt seeks a VP, Capital Markets and M&A to lead capital formation as the company scales its digital energy/AI platform. Reporting to the CFO, you will stand up the in-house banking capability, own the capital structure, holdco and project financing, and drive acquisitions end to end.

This is a high-visibility role with board exposure and direct influence on growth financing. You will shape funding strategy, manage lender relationships, and design structures that balance cost of capital

Qualifications

• 8–12 years in capital markets, investment banking, M&A, or project finance with a track record of structuring and closing transactions.
• Depth across debt capital markets, structured or project finance, and acquisition execution.
• Experience managing lender, banker, and rating agency relationships and presenting to boards.
• Ability to design capital structures balancing cost of capital and flexibility.

The company is pursuing an active pipeline of site acquisitions and large-scale development to serve surging compute demand, and is building the finance function to support it.

Reporting to the CFO, this is a build mandate: standing up the in-house banking capability from the ground up and owning the capital structure, holdco and project financing, and the execution of acquisitions end to end. It is a high-visibility seat with regular board exposure and a direct hand in shaping how the company funds its next phase of growth.
