Job summary

Reef Capital in Lehi, UT seeks a Vice President of Capital Formation to lead the firm’s efforts to raise capital from institutional LPs, public pension plans, RIAs, wirehouses, and other large allocators.

This newly created, full-time role will build a repeatable outreach and qualification engine, manage relationships across channels, and travel extensively to drive programmatic fundraising on Reef's behalf.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or related field; MBA preferred but not required.
• Proven track record raising capital from large institutional LPs and RIAs.
• Strong relationships with institutional investment consultants.
• Direct experience engaging high-net-worth and institutional investors.
• Ability to build scalable relationship-management processes from scratch.
• Comfort with heavy travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital-raising efforts with RIAs, wirehouses, pensions, and family offices.
• Develop a repeatable outreach and qualification engine across channels.
• Navigate institutional due diligence, RFIs/RFPs, and manager searches.
• Represent Reef in conversations with decision-makers and consultants.
• Support secondary-market and member-base capital initiatives as the role matures.
• Travel extensively to maintain relationships.
