Job summary

Reef Capital, a Utah-based investment and development firm, seeks a Vice President of Capital Formation to lead capital raising from institutional LPs and other investment channels. The role builds a repeatable outreach, qualification engine, and strong relationships with RIAs, wirehouses, pensions, family offices, and consultants.

Domestic travel is a key expectation. With a track record of deploying billions across its platforms, Reef seeks a proven fundraiser who can scale relationships,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field required.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own outreach and channel development across RIAs, wirehouses, pensions, insurers, family offices, and consultant groups.
• Build a qualification and relationship-management process for these channels.
• Lead institutional due diligence and RFIs/RFPs, questionnaires, and on-site visits for manager lists.
• Engage directly with high-net-worth and institutional decision-makers as Reef's representative.
• Develop relationships with secondary market groups and family offices.
• Support capital raising from Reef's member base as the role matures.
• Travel extensively to build and sustain relationships.
