Job summary

Internet Brands in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Executive Recruiter to join our in-house executive recruiting team. You will partner directly with the CEO, senior leadership and business executives to identify and recruit high-impact VP-level and above talent across our portfolio.

The role can be full-time or contract and remote work is possible for candidates based in the greater Los Angeles area, with periodic in-person visits to our LA office as needed.

Qualifications

• Significant experience recruiting VP-level, executive and senior leadership talent.
• Background in in-house executive recruiting, retained executive search, or a mix of both.
• Advanced sourcing, networking, research and talent-mapping skills.
• Ability to craft search strategies when job descriptions are not fully developed.
• Strong executive presence to engage CEOs and senior leaders.
• Curiosity to understand diverse businesses, industries and functions.
• Comfort moving between different searches and talent markets.
• Resourceful, entrepreneurial, and able to dig beyond inbound applicants.
• Excellent judgment, professionalism and discretion in confidential searches.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the CEO, senior executives and business leaders to define executive talent needs.
• Lead full-cycle searches focused on VP-level and above roles.
• Translate loosely defined business ideas into actionable search plans.
• Conduct market mapping and competitive research to locate top talent.
• Source and engage senior executives, including passive candidates.
• Build pipelines for current and future leadership needs.
• Assess leadership capability, experience, and fit for the organization.
• Provide leadership with insights into external talent markets and availability.
• Manage candidates through outreach, assessment, interviews, offers and close.
• Deliver a professional, confidential candidate experience.
• Run multiple executive searches with evolving priorities.
