Job summary

Dupaco is seeking a VP of Business Lending to expand our presence in Des Moines and surrounding areas. You will leverage deep C&I lending and real estate lending knowledge to build lasting member relationships and drive a growing commercial book.

You will lead cross-functional teams, monitor market trends, and ensure high-quality service to members and coworkers while promoting Dupaco’s values and community impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in business lending.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of business financial statements and cash flows analysis.
• Thorough knowledge of laws and regulations governing business lending practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with members, communities, and internal teams.
• Manage loan origination, underwriting, and closing processes.
• Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with lending policies.
• Drive loan growth and deposit referrals to achieve revenue targets.
• Provide guidance and training to teammates as needed.
• Represent Dupaco in community events and industry organizations.
