Job summary

The position is hybrid in New York City, with a salary range of $200,000–$225,000 per year, commensurate with location and experience. You will work with diverse stakeholders to promote UNFCU products and services while upholding our values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business development or related field is required.
• 10-15 years of demonstrable experience in a high-level business development or marketing role.
• Experience working with the United Nations, NGOs, or similar organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uphold UNFCU’s mission, values, and service excellence in all interactions.
• Evaluate and develop the business case for FOM expansion and onboard new organizations.
• Analyze market trends and target demographics to support growth initiatives.
• Act as a brand ambassador to promote UNFCU products and benefits.
• Build relationships with target organization officials to gain support for UNFCU partnerships.
• Lead outreach for global strategies to increase UNFCU membership per the FOM plan.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to onboard and operationalize new entities joining FOM.
• Define and track metrics to measure FOM outreach success.
• Coordinate with global member service teams to support engagement initiatives.
• Manage budgets and stay informed on UN affairs and policies.

Overview

Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with organizations relevant to UNFCU’s Field of Membership (FOM) expansion program.

This position is hybrid.

NYC Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What You’ll Do

• Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCU’s mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members alike through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors.
• Evaluate and develop the business case for field of membership expansion in accordance with Corporate Strategy; identify and onboard new organizations in alignment with growth strategies.
• Analyze market trends, target entity demographics, and competitive position in the local market to support growth initiatives.
• Serve as a brand ambassador to represent and enhance the brand’s reputation, fulfill its promise to deliver peace of mind with each partnership, and clearly communicate UNFCU’s value proposition.
• Build and foster relationships with target organization officials to gain approval and support for promotion of UNFCU products, services, and benefits.
• Lead outreach execution for global strategies to increase UNFCU membership, within the approved FOM expansion strategy.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive awareness and engagement across UNFCU to support the successful onboarding and operationalization of new entities joining our FOM.
• Define and track clear metrics to measure the success and impact of our FOM outreach.
• Collaborate with global member service teams to deliver presentations and support member engagement initiatives.
• Manage budgets and maintain knowledge of UNFCU products, partnerships, policies, procedures, and relevant United Nations affairs while supporting additional business needs as required.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.

What We’re Seeking

• Bachelor’s degree in business development or related field.
• 10-15 years of demonstrable experience in a high-level business development or marketing role, including management experience.
• Experience working with the United Nations, Non-governmental organizations, or similar organizations preferred.
