UNFCU in New York seeks a seasoned business development leader to identify, engage, and onboard strategic organizations for its Field of Membership expansion, delivering measurable growth and strengthening member value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business development or related field.
• 10-15 years of demonstrable experience in a high-level business development or marketing role, including management experience.
• Experience working with the United Nations, Non-governmental organizations, or similar organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with organizations for UNFCU’s FOM expansion.
• Evaluate and develop the business case for FOM expansion and onboard new organizations.
• Analyze market trends and demographics to support growth initiatives.
• Represent UNFCU as a brand ambassador to promote products and benefits.
• Lead outreach for global strategies to increase UNFCU membership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive awareness and onboarding of new entities.
• Define and track metrics to measure FOM outreach impact.
• Coordinate with global member service teams to support engagement initiatives.
• Manage budgets and stay informed on UNFCU products, policies, and UN affairs.

This position is hybrid.

NYC Salary Range: $200,000 - $225,000 annually: compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

What you'll do

• Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCU’s mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members alike through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors.
• Evaluate and develop the business case for field of membership expansion in accordance with Corporate Strategy. Identify and onboard new organizations in alignment with growth strategies
• Analyze market trends, target entity demographics and competitive position in the local market to support growth initiatives.
• Serve as a brand ambassador to represent and enhance the brand’s reputation, fulfill its promise to deliver peace of mind with each partnership and clearly communicate UNFCU’s value proposition.
• Build and foster relationships with target organization officials to gain approval and support for promotion of UNFCU products, services, and benefits.
• Lead outreach execution for global strategies to increase UNFCU membership, within the approved FOM expansion strategy.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive awareness and engagement across UNFCU to support the successful onboarding and operationalization of new entities joining our FOM.
• Define and track clear metrics to measure the success and impact of our FOM outreach.
• Collaborate with global member service teams to deliver presentations and support member engagement initiatives.
• Manage budgets and maintain knowledge of UNFCU products, partnerships, policies, procedures, and relevant United Nations affairs while supporting additional business needs as required.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct.
