Job summary

StandardAero is seeking a Vice President, Trading to lead a high-performing team in strategic asset management of engine, module, and USM assets across the lifecycle. You will develop and execute strategies to maximize asset utilization, profitability, and customer value while partnering with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, and Customer Support-Engineering & Technical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of aerospace asset management or related experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience with engine acquisitions, exchanges, valuation, leasing, or asset portfolio management.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a complex matrix organization.
• Strong financial acumen including business case development and profitability management.
• Up to 50% travel (international & domestic).

Responsibilities

• Leads strategic asset management initiatives for the CFM56 portfolio, maximizing financial performance and customer value.
• Develop and execute engine exchange strategies; lead acquisitions, exchanges, sales, and origination activities with analysis-backed recommendations.
• Direct engine, module, and component origination; value acquired assets and optimize lead times; monetize repair, lease, teardown, and part-out options.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Finance, and technical teams to align asset deployment and service delivery with demand.
• Build and lead a high-performing trading organization, driving cross-functional execution and data-driven decisions.
