Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies seeks a Sr SCM Engine & Asset Manager to own sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiations and supplier management for high-value aircraft engines, APUs, and related assets. You will shape long-term maintenance strategies and lead negotiations to optimize total cost of ownership.

The role focuses on strategic initiatives, cross-functional collaboration, and strong analytical execution to sustain competitive advantages in engine and APU maintenance services.

Qualifications

• 10 years of aircraft maintenance contract management experience, or related area.
• Bachelor's degree with a focus in Business, or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Proficient in Excel and able to work with data analysis tools, statistical/reference formulas, and pivot tables.
• Proven ability to leverage business acumen and analytic capability to position the organization as a critical business partner.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in reporting, contract awareness and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to create collaborative relationships that drive outcomes in the best interest of the company, with others in the organization, and with key external business partners.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 18.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to build a long-term competitive advantage in engine and APU maintenance.
• Research and implement innovative ideas about engine and APU maintenance and lease market to maximize leverage.
• Define long-term strategy and processes for maintenance support for engines, APUs, nacelles and other complex assets.
• Influence senior leaders and provide strategic recommendations on maintenance support.
• Develop and maintain an effective communication process to keep the senior management team informed.
• Guide and partner with Fleet, Network Planning, Maintenance, FP&A, Legal and Accounting on engine/asset matters.
• Maintain expert knowledge of engine, nacelle and APU purchase and service agreements.
• Influence leaders to optimize work timing to minimize total cost of ownership.
• Understand portfolios of engine providers to identify leverage opportunities.
• Design industry-leading solutions for engine/APU purchases and services to minimize cost and maximize value.
• Represent the company in negotiations concerning engine and APU purchases/service agreements.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with engine and APU suppliers.
