HealthVerity is seeking a visionary Vice President, Associate General Counsel to partner with the EVP & General Counsel and lead the legal, compliance, and contracting functions after a major business integration. You will advise cross-functional teams including sales, partnerships, and privacy on complex data licensing and regulatory matters. The role requires a J.D.

with active U.S. bar admission and substantial in-house experience, with a focus on healthcare data, software licenses, and CLM

Qualifications

• J.D. with bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 7+ years of combined law firm and in-house experience, healthcare background a plus.
• Experience drafting and negotiating software and data licensing agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate healthcare data and software licenses, master services agreements, and other commercial agreements.
• Advise on privacy laws and de-identification standards affecting products and operations.
• Maintain and strengthen the compliance program with policies, training, risk assessments, and audit responses.
• Support contracting workflows and playbook strategy, including AI-enabled workflows.
• Mentor and develop team members to build a strong legal, compliance, and contracting culture.
