Job summary

Fidelity Investments in Boston is seeking a VP, Asset Management and Portfolio Operations to lead day-to-day portfolio management and oversee multiple assets within the Natural Resources platform. You will collaborate with investment teams, governance bodies, and portfolio company management to develop and communicate investment thesis and strategy.

The role requires 7–10 years in senior private markets roles, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 7–10 years as VP/Director at a large direct investment platform.
• Experience in private markets and real assets (natural resources) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day portfolio management and oversight.
• Support development and communication of investment thesis and strategy.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management and governance bodies.
• Coordinate with investment team and shared services (tax, legal, finance, risk).
• Travel about twice per month for meetings.
