Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. seeks a senior risk leader to establish and oversee the risk framework for a diverse portfolio of alternative investments. You will manage a risk team and partner with investment, product, treasury, finance, operations, and technology leaders to provide independent risk oversight and insights.

The role requires deep expertise in market, credit, liquidity, and tail risk, plus strong analytics, governance, and cross-functional collaboration. Onsite work is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance/Economics/Math; advanced degree or CFA/CAIA/FRM preferred.
• 15+ years in investment risk management, analytics, alt investments, with leadership.
• Expertise across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, VC, real estate, crypto and derivatives.
• Deep understanding of market, credit, liquidity, valuation, operational, concentration, counterparty risks.
• Experience in evaluating exposures, leverage, liquidity, tail risks; strong risk methodologies.
• Proven ability to develop risk frameworks, governance, reporting and controls.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enhance the risk management framework for a broad alt investments program.
• Lead a team of risk professionals and partner with senior leaders to provide oversight.
• Deliver analytics, stress tests, scenario analysis, and risk reporting to governance committees.
• Drive strategic risk initiatives, product development support, and cross-functional collaboration.
