Job summary

Citizens Bank seeks a Vice President level professional to join the Asset Backed Securitization (ABS) team within Structured Products (SP) in Stamford, CT. The VP will support non-mortgage securitization origination and execution for Term ABS and ABSL, reporting to the Head of ABS.

The role emphasizes strong analytical, modeling, and coordination across internal teams and external counsels. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in Term ABS/ABSL, robust credit and presentation skills, and familiarity

Qualifications

• 6+ years of Term ABS and ABSL experience at a commercial or investment bank
• Advanced analytical, structuring, underwriting, credit, and presentation skills
• Comfort with legal documents and coordinating with lawyers, clients and external parties
• Strong knowledge of the Term ABS market and related assets, with client/market coverage coordination
• Proficient with MS Office, Bloomberg, and Credit Research Tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented and deadline-driven

Responsibilities

• Originate and lead execution of non-mortgage asset-backed securitization transactions across consumer and commercial assets
• Prepare credit underwriting memos and coordinate legal review for ABSL deals
• Assist with market pricing research and deal execution for Term ABS transactions
• Develop pitch materials and provide structuring and execution advice to clients
• Maintain relationships with credit, portfolio management, and investment banking teams
• Mentor and develop associates
