Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a Vice President for ABS due diligence based in New York City. The role leads collateral and operational reviews across securitizations, consumer and specialty finance asset classes, coordinating with originators, servicers, auditors, and legal counsel.

You will evaluate collateral, servicing practices, and regulatory controls, and provide independent risk assessments throughout the transaction lifecycle. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in due diligence, structured finance, ABS, asset-based financing, collateral risk management, or related fields.
• Strong experience reviewing AUP reports, operational audits, collateral examinations, and third-party diligence.
• Experience evaluating borrowing bases, collateral eligibility criteria, asset verification testing, and covenant compliance.
• Understanding of consumer lending products and ABS asset classes is a plus.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence reviews for asset-based financing facilities, warehouse lending transactions, portfolio acquisitions, and securitizations.
• Review and assess third-party AUP reports, audit reports, collateral examinations, and verification testing.
• Evaluate collateral eligibility, ownership, perfection, borrowing base methodologies, concentration limits, and advance rate assumptions.
• Prepare and present due diligence reports, findings, and risk assessments to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor financing facilities for covenant compliance and ongoing risk.
