Job summary

RBC is seeking a Vice President in Asset Backed Securities Structuring in New York. Lead structuring efforts, build and refine models, and coordinate with rating agencies and accountants to execute term ABS deals.

You will support deal marketing and provide rigorous analytical input for pitches, RFPs, and valuation analyses. The role requires 4+ years of ABS experience, Series 7/63/79 licenses, and strong Excel/VBA skills, with a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Asset Backed Securities or related experience.
• Familiarity with Term and Conduit ABS products including Non-Traditional Asset Classes.
• Series 7, 63 & 79 licenses.
• Previous transaction execution experience across various asset classes.
• Self-starter in fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Develop and utilize models to structure term ABS transactions across asset classes.
• Interface with rating agencies to obtain ratings for transactions.
• Review transaction documents and support deal marketing.
• Provide analytical support for pitch books, presentations, and RFPs; maintain internal models.
• Assist in asset valuations and trade analyses for securitization and other opportunities.
• Identify operational risks and ensure compliance with Firm Policies.
