Job summary

DP World Americas is seeking a Vice President, Commercial Freight Forwarding to align global strategy with regional execution and to sponsor major regional opportunities. You will oversee cross-regional coordination, lead sales and trade lane development, and manage key customer relationships across the Americas.

You will drive pricing, financial models, and regional budgets while guiding regional teams toward sustained profitability and service excellence in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ senior management experience within Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or related industries.
• In-depth knowledge of North and South American regional customer and commodity base.
• Proven track record managing key stakeholder relationships and complex sales cycles.
• Strong leadership and the ability to motivate teams in high-pressure environments.
• Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate sales efforts and sales focus within the region.
• Sales pipeline and funnel management using the CRM.
• Coordinate preparation of sales targets and commercial budgets across units.
• Facilitate opportunity sharing across units and with other regions.
• Act as entry point for cross-regional or cross-pillar communication on Freight forwarding.
• Lead trade lane development and support vertical/account squads.
• Engage with cargo owners to ensure strong relationship management.
• Discover new business operations and coordinate resources for new services.
• Assess financial and economic issues to identify trade opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with senior management on business impact of projects.
• Assist with pricing structure and financial models of DP World Logistics services.
• Promote continuous process improvement and best practice sharing.
