Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a senior leader to guide alternative investments within OCIO and MSFO portfolios. You will source managers, perform institutional due diligence, and help design customized hedge fund and private markets strategies for sophisticated clients.

You will develop analytical tools, communicate with clients and internal partners, and drive portfolio construction and risk management across multi-asset platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of investment experience with a focus on alternatives.
• Demonstrated due diligence on managers and portfolio construction experience.
• Strong communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Professional certifications (CFA/CAIA/MBA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert and portfolio manager for alt investments within OCIO and MSFO client portfolios.
• Source, evaluate, and conduct due diligence on managers across alternatives strategies.
• Build customized alternatives portfolios for institutional, family office, and high-net-worth clients.
• Collaborate with OCIO/MSFO client segments and advisors to support investments and reviews.
• Develop analytics, models, reporting processes, and data workflows for due diligence and monitoring.
