Job summary

SCS is seeking a Vice President to join its Alternative Investment Services team in Boston. The role focuses on leading onboarding, fund operations, fundraising, investor communications, and fair value support for private investments.

You will oversee complex workflows, ensure data quality, and mentor junior staff while coordinating across investment, legal, compliance, and client teams. The position offers exposure to SCS’s alternative investment platform and opportunities to improve processes,

Qualifications

• Approximately 7+ years of relevant experience in alternative investment operations, private fund administration, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or related discipline.
• Hands-on iLEVEL experience and familiarity with investment structures, commitments, cash flows, valuations, dashboards, and reporting data.

Responsibilities

• Team execution and workflow leadership for day-to-day operations.
• Oversee onboarding of investment managers and lifecycle servicing, including commitments, subscriptions, redemptions, and documentation.
• Lead AML/KYC processes and investor due diligence.
• Act as a senior iLEVEL resource; oversee data integrity across platforms.
• Coordinate private investment fundraising, CRM governance, and investor communications.
• Draft and review investor letters and coordinate operational support for fund performance disclosures.
• Lead fair value processes for direct private investments, including valuations and documentation.
• Drive special projects and platform development to scale the investment services.
