Job summary

Optum is seeking a VP, AI Transformation to lead enterprise AI programs across Finance and other corporate functions. The role partners with CFO leadership to modernize processes, data, platforms, and working methods through AI, automation, and digital tech.

The ideal candidate has led technology, data, AI, or digital product teams and understands FP&A, controllership, accounting, treasury, tax, procurement, and financial reporting. Remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

15+ years of technology, engineering, data, product, or digital transformation leadership.
Demonstrated success partnering with Finance/CFO organizations.
Experience delivering technology transformation across Finance domains (FP&A, controllership, accounting).
Track record leading AI, data, automation or digital-platform programs with measurable business outcomes.
Experience translating business requirements into technology roadmaps and delivery plans.
Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, data platforms, and security.

Responsibilities

Lead multi-year AI and technology transformation roadmap for Finance aligned with strategy and architecture.
Own the portfolio of AI/tech transformation engagements across Finance and other functions.
Define target architecture and reusable patterns for AI, automation, and data products.
Drive governance, risk, privacy, and compliance in AI initiatives across Finance.
Build an internal capability and partnerships to scale enterprise AI responsibly.
