Job summary

Fortinet, Inc. is seeking an exceptional finance executive to shape the future of our global Finance organization.

Reporting to the CFO, this role partners with Finance leadership to transform operations through AI, automation, and advanced analytics. The executive will move between strategy and hands‑on delivery, building a lean, agile Finance function, defining multi‑year roadmaps and governance across Finance, IT, Data and the business.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in large, global organizations.
• Experience in FP&A, controllership, finance transformation, and broad leadership.
• Strong financial judgment and credibility with CFOs and CEOs.
• Understanding of public company financial requirements, controls, and compliance.
• Proven ability to lead significant transformation across Finance or enterprise functions.
• Deep understanding of how AI, automation and data reshape Finance work.
• Ability to translate technology opportunities into measurable financial outcomes.
• Proven ability to lead through influence without a large direct organization.
• Excellent analytical, communication and change leadership skills.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CPA or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define the Future Finance Operating Model with a multi-year roadmap.
• Assess capabilities, processes, structure and technology; identify high-value opportunities.
• Evolve to an agile, capability-oriented operating model; decide AI/automation ownership.
• Build an AI-native Finance function with governance and human accountability.
• Transform to provide forward-looking, predictive insights and scalable analytics.
• Modernize transactions and operations; automate high-volume activities.
• Lead Finance engineering capability and collaborate with IT, Data, and AI teams.
• Lead enterprise strategy and transformation in partnership with the CFO.
• Shape the Finance workforce for the future with flatter, agile organization.
