State Street Corporation in Boston seeks a senior leader to head AI security and data protection governance, shaping enterprise strategy, policies, and controls across platforms and third-party services. You will align risk with business priorities and drive measurable outcomes.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, partner with senior leaders across Security, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and Internal Audit to embed security-by-design and scalable governance, while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, CS, Eng, Math, or Data Science; advanced degree preferred.
• 13+ years in cybersecurity, AI security, data protection, governance in a large org.
• Leadership experience directing multi-year transformation and executive influence.
• CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or similar security/privacy certifications preferred.
• Knowledge of AI model/data discovery, PKI, cloud security, and governance dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise vision and multi-year roadmap for AI security and data protection.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for governance, risk, and program execution.
• Define enterprise policies, standards, and control objectives across tech stacks.
• Direct risk assessments of AI models, data assets, and critical technologies.
• Sponsor control requirements, testing, and remediation across the enterprise.
• Partner with Security Architecture to embed security-by-design into architectures.
