Job summary

State Street Alpha seeks an AI Governance Architect to lead governance, oversight, and responsible adoption of Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, and AI-enabled engineering across the organization. Collaboration across architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, product, legal, risk management, and FinOps ensures AI solutions align with enterprise governance, security, risk, and cost standards.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• 4–12 years of experience in Financial Technology and production support.
• Exposure to SQL and relational databases (Oracle/MS SQL Server).
• Familiarity with Salesforce; knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization, Kafka is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI governance, policy adoption, and standards tailoring across the organization.
• Own intake, classification and approval for AI use across engineering, cloud ops and business functions.
• Ensure traceability from enterprise obligations to Charles River controls and owners.
