Job summary

State Street Alpha seeks an experienced AI Governance Architect to lead governance of Generative AI, LLMs and AI-enabled engineering. Collaborate with architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, compliance, product, legal and risk teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.

Ideal candidates bring deep AI governance, cloud, security, and financial services control experience. This role advocates for secure, auditable and cost-effective AI practices within a regulated financial services

Qualifications

Four-year technical degree required.
4–12 years in Financial Tech and application production support.
Exposure to SQL and relational databases; Oracle/MSSQL knowledge.
Experience with structured programming languages and system administration.
Familiarity with Salesforce for case tracking preferred.
Knowledge of cloud computing, virtualization and Kafka is a plus.
Proven ability to work in mission-critical production environments.

Responsibilities

Policy adoption and standards tailoring across enterprise architecture and security.
Interpret corporate policy into Charles River standards and controls.
Maintain traceability from obligations to controls and owners.
Represent Charles River in enterprise policy development for software and cloud.
Identify misalignments and secure executive-approved adaptations.
Own AI intake, classification, and approval for use across functions.
Align classifications to NIST AI RMF and enterprise risk taxonomy.
