Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks an experienced AI Systems Design Architect (VP) to lead enterprise AI system architecture strategy across the full Generative AI platform stack.

You will define standards, governance, and cloud design principles for AI platforms, partnering with business, product, engineering, cloud, security, risk, and data teams to ensure secure, scalable, and compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on and architectural experience with Generative AI, LLMs, ML systems, RAG, and AI integration.
• Proven cloud architecture and enterprise solution design on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architecture, AI services, security, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI system architecture strategy across the GenAI platform stack.
• Define reference architectures, design standards, and cloud design approaches for AI platforms.
• Provide leadership on scalable, secure, and compliant AI system design.
• Chair architecture governance and align strategy with business priorities.
