Job summary

Agilyti is seeking a Vice President of Business Operations & AI Enablement in Houston, TX. This hands-on role drives AI-enabled workflows across commercial, operations, and finance domains, turning complex problems into production systems.

You will prototype rapidly, partner with the CTO and technology leadership, and scale practical automation while ensuring adoption by analysts and business teams across the company.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years in operations leadership within a complex, multi-site, people-heavy business.
• Experience building AI-enabled workflows and internal tools; not just governance.
• Able to turn ideas into real prototypes quickly and present to operators.
• Able to decompose operational problems and reason with data, spreadsheets, or conversations.
• Able to engage with regional managers, accountants, and data engineers in one afternoon.
• Ships 80% solution when appropriate and handoffs cleanly, avoiding overbuilding.
• Influence comes from credibility and shipped work, not authority.

Responsibilities

• Identify and personally build AI-enabled workflows and internal tools to reduce manual effort.
• Prototype solutions in days or weeks and validate with real company data.
• Collaborate with technology to productionize, secure, and support prototypes.
• Instrument every build with metrics and usage tracking.
• Document business processes and handoffs to reduce rework and capacity drain.
• Translate between operators and technologists to ensure adoption.
• Close gap between AI tools deployed and used, achieving daily adoption.
• Develop internal power users and enable self-sufficiency.
• Maintain a live view of automation opportunities and present to CEO and leadership.
