Job summary

Equinix seeks a VP, Product Architecture & Security Platform to lead architectural strategy, security platform modernization, and AI-driven product opportunities across global products. You will shape long-term roadmaps, govern standards, and partner with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security to accelerate innovation and growth.

This role requires deep technical leadership, risk management, and ability to drive cross-functional programs in a large, global organization.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
• 15+ years of software engineering and technology leadership experience in startups and enterprise environments.
• Proven record of launching early security apps or security platform-like products.

Responsibilities

• AI software incubation for security applications and services across L7 and app security domains.
• Develop agile engineering capabilities to prototype and scale AI market opportunities.
• Drive innovation in intelligent traffic management, endpoint routing, and secure connectivity.
• Create revenue-generating adjacencies with Fabric and security platform offerings.
• Identify and scale new AI-driven product opportunities strengthening Equinix differentiation.
