Job summary

Equinix in the United States is seeking a Vice President, Product Architecture & Security Platform to drive architecture, security, and AI-native product strategy across the Global Product organization.

You will lead three areas: sovereign security platforms, Layer 7 networking, and API-driven programmable interfaces, partnering with Product, Engineering, Infrastructure and Security to accelerate innovation and secure software growth.

Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
15+ years of experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles at startups and enterprise companies.
Networking domain knowledge essential; ability to lead a team of network architects.

Responsibilities

Lead AI software incubation for security applications across L7 and application security domains.
Build agile engineering capabilities to prototype and scale AI opportunities.
Drive innovation in intelligent traffic management, endpoint routing, and secure app connectivity.
Develop revenue-generating adjacencies with Fabric and security platform offerings.
Identify and accelerate new AI-driven product opportunities that strengthen Equinix's differentiation.
