Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Vice President of Product Architecture & Security Platform to drive architecture, security, and AI-native product strategy. You will oversee three strategic areas: architecture leadership, AI-enabled security engineering, and Layer 7 applications with agentic AI capabilities.

You will collaborate across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and Information Security to accelerate innovation, strengthen security, and unlock higher-value software growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field.
• 15+ years of software engineering and technology leadership experience.
• Networking knowledge and experience leading network architects.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-powered security application incubation across L7 and app security domains.
• Define architecture standards and engineering practices for product platforms.
• Drive security, data sovereignty, and sovereign infrastructure strategy.
• Oversee API roadmap and programmable infrastructure services strategy.
