Goldman Sachs is seeking a VP-level Product Manager in Legal Engineering to lead end-to-end product delivery across AI initiatives and technology modernization. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in managing/launching technical products.
• Minimum 7 years of product management experience, including driving product vision, design, and launch strategy.
• Knowledge of product management, engineering, user experience; working knowledge of financial markets and products.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Must work well in a global team, multi-tasking environment and under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Knowledge of the financial industry and Legal functions would be welcome but are not expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple complex projects related to AI adoption, engineering process improvement, and technology modernization within Legal Engineering.
• Work with sponsors and stakeholders to establish a clear product strategy and road map in line with overall product vision and broader Legal Engineering objectives.
• Conduct user research: current state assessments, job shadowing, requirements gathering.
• Create strategy documents and memos and maintain detailed documentation.
• Translate user requirements into “user stories” for delivery by the development teams.
• Manage sprint execution and product launches.
• Communicate progress to key stakeholders on the product.
• Coordinate the flow and prioritization of requests from all stakeholders and product backlog.
• Sign off on all functional delivery prior to production release.
• Understand and manage impact across integrated applications.
• Monitor usage post-launch and validate product performance.
