Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a VP, AI Center of Excellence (CoE) to lead the AI delivery within Enterprise Systems from Durham, NC. The role requires strategic leadership, cross‑functional collaboration, and governance across AI initiatives, architecture, and vendor relationships.

The position is full‑time, first shift with hybrid work for those within 35 miles of Durham, NC, and standard business hours 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise technology delivery initiatives including data and AI programs.
• Proven ability to build and lead AI teams of architects and engineers.
• Experience owning end-to-end solution delivery lifecycles and vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the AI CoE within Enterprise Systems.
• Lead AI initiatives aligned to enterprise objectives and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
• Mentor AI teams and manage talent development and performance goals.
• Oversee AI delivery lifecycle from ideation to deployment and governance.
