Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking an Agentic Software Engineer (Vice President) to join the AI Agentic Systems team in New York. You will architect and deploy swarms of autonomous agents to modernize applications and automate decision workflows across the firm.

You will help build agentic solutions that plan, transform and validate complex modernization scenarios, enabling dynamic automation and data-driven insights at scale within a global financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Experience deploying and operating LLM-based agents in production.
• Ability to design benchmarks, evaluations and quality metrics for AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy multi-agent systems (swarms) for autonomous planning across cloud environments.
• Build human-in-the-loop evaluation frameworks and observability mechanisms.
• Design integrations with APIs, developer tooling, CI/CD, data platforms, or operations.
• Collaborate with business units to translate needs into agentic workflows.
