Walker & Dunlop, a leading commercial real estate finance firm, is seeking a Vice President & Associate General Counsel of Technology and Data Privacy in the Atlanta area. You will partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, IT, and Cybersecurity to govern data, licensing, privacy, and AI initiatives.

The role focuses on advising on privacy, data governance, and complex technology contracts, with cross-functional collaboration and leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

JD from an accredited law school with bar admission.
5+ years of relevant legal experience advising on tech, privacy, data, and commercial matters.
CIPM/CIPP-US/EU certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as product counsel for the lifecycle of products from design to launch.
Embed privacy, governance, security, and responsible AI into new products and platforms.
Review data flows and AI uses to identify legal risks and craft solutions.
Lead privacy, data governance, and licensing matters for the org.
Lead negotiations for SaaS, data, and software licenses and NDAs.
Coordinate with procurement to streamline contract workflows.
