Job summary

Virtuoso, Ltd., based in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Senior Counsel to own privacy, data processing, technology transactions, and AI across the company’s global product suite. You will guide privacy by design, manage incidents, negotiate DPAs, and build governance for AI; oversee notices, records of processing, and regulatory reporting with Legal Operations.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. license (TX eligibility).
• Six or more years of privacy and technology transactions experience, including in-house.
• Experience with GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, and cross-border data transfers.
• Experience negotiating technology agreements (SaaS, API, DPA) and incident response support.
• Experience with AI and ad tech or marketing data practices.
• CIPP/E, CIPP/US, or CIPM certification preferred.
• Technical fluency with technology platforms and data architecture (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Own privacy compliance across laws including GDPR, UK GDPR, U.S. state privacy laws, and others.
• Draft and negotiate tech agreements and advise on data practices.
• Serve as product counsel for Virtuoso’s digital products and AI initiatives.
• Lead AI governance, internal policy, and monitoring of AI legislation.
• Lead incident response and regulatory communications.
• Collaborate with Technology security on vendor risk and audits.
