Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. seeks a Vice President, Advanced Manufacturing to lead the Business Unit and drive strategic growth across client portfolios. The BUL will oversee multiple project teams, align pursuits with risk tolerance, and report to an Executive Vice President in Falls Church, VA area.

Expect a strong leadership profile and proven relationship building in the industry. Responsibilities include shaping long-term plans, managing pipelines, and ensuring financial health of the unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering or business preferred; alternative experience accepted.
• Ability to lead multiple project teams and align with company risk tolerance.
• Proficiency with Procore, scheduling tools, CRM, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple project teams to deliver results and profitability.
• Develops long-term strategic plans to grow current and future client relationships.
• Manages pipelines, pursues opportunities, and ensures adherence to budgets and schedules.
• Acts as executive sponsor for pursuits and oversees subcontractor use and supplier diversity.
• Documents risk issues, resolves disputes, and ensures health and safety compliance.
• Reviews milestones via site walks and maintains project health checks.
• Allocates resources, attracts top talent, and supports succession planning.
• Leads by example, fosters an inclusive, transparent work culture.
• Identifies competitive advantages and represents the company publicly.
