Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; supplemented by clerical experience and computer proficiency.
• Must type 50 wpm; general knowledge of federal, state and county election laws (training provided).
• Must possess Virginia driver's license and be a registered voter in Virginia.
• Knowledge of Spotsylvania County election procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Online processing of voter registrations and change requests with verification.
• Files and scans registration cards, registrations, and records.
• Assist with in-person absentee/early voting procedures.
• Prepare election day materials and assist with results/tabulation.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries from the public.
• Maintain electronic poll books and assist with voting equipment (training provided).
