Job summary

Relentless is seeking a Deputy Director for Voter Protection to lead strategy and execution of voting information and support for our voting ambassadors. This remote, full-time role focuses on building a clear, accurate knowledge base and rapid response operations during programs and peak periods.

You will create voter education content, coordinate with the content and partnerships teams, and guide staff in answering complex questions while upholding non-partisan accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Experience in digital organizing, voter protection, or voter education.
  • Ability to read election guidance and translate into plain language.
  • Experience managing content in a CMS or similar tool.
  • Strong plain-language writing and training skills.
  • Comfort coordinating with multiple teams and volunteers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the voter education repository end to end.
  • Build and manage the voter education calendar and deadlines.
  • Review and approve scripts, FAQs, and materials touching voting.
  • Vet approved external resources and shareable content.
  • Create participant-facing voter education materials with teams.
  • Act as voter protection captain during events in Slack.
  • Own intake and escalation for voter education questions.
  • Partner with teams to embed education into curricula and templates.
  • Adapt responsibilities as the program shifts from build to peak season.
