Job summary

StaffEx is seeking a Vote by Mail Opening Clerk in Orlando, FL for a two-week temporary assignment, 9am–6pm. Pay rate is $15/hr. The role requires attention to detail, reliable transportation, and a commitment to a full assignment.

Responsibilities include assisting with vote-by-mail opening, ballot certificate handling, and batch processing. The position requires English proficiency and nonpartisan conduct on duty.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in customer service roles.
• Ability to stay nonpartisan while on duty.
• Strong organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must be able to speak and write English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Vote-by-Mail opening in coordination with team.
• Handle ballot removal from certificates and batch preparation.
• Support duplication and control sheet paperwork.
• Assist with operation of high-speed sorting machines.
• Research and resolve batch errors; retrieve certificates as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
