Job summary

Voodoo Doughnut Miami is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead our flagship Miami store. You will hire and develop doughnut makers and service staff, execute local marketing plans, manage a P/L, and ensure exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

With at least 4 years in restaurant management, you read financial data, control inventory, and build relationships with local partners. You’ll work weekends, oversee operations, and foster a culture of excellence while delivering

Are you ready to take on a sweet new challenge and be a part of a thriving and exciting brand? We're searching for a passionate and dynamic General Manager to lead our location in Miami, Florida! As the General Manager, you'll have the unique opportunity to build and shape the brand's presence in this market, while also delivering the iconic doughnut experience that Voodoo Doughnut is known for. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities outlined in the job posting, you'll also be responsible for hiring and training a new team of doughnut makers and service staff, creating and executing a marketing plan to drive traffic to the store, and developing relationships with local businesses and organizations to increase brand awareness. You'll have the autonomy to make strategic decisions and to bring your personal brand of enthusiasm and creativity to this new venture. With the support of the Voodoo Doughnut leadership team, you'll have access to the resources and tools needed to succeed, and the freedom to take ownership of the store and drive it to success while creating a culture of excellence amongst your team.

As the ideal candidate, you're an experienced General Manager with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, creating and executing successful marketing plans, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 4 years of restaurant management or bakery production experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You should be able to read and react to P/L, have experience with ordering and inventory systems, and understand how to run a guest-focused business. Additionally, you should have a flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and be able to handle physical requirements such as lifting heavy objects and working with cleaning chemicals.
