Job summary

Voodoo Doughnut in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead one of our flagship locations. You will oversee operations, guest experience, and staff, with ownership of P/L and marketing to drive traffic.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in restaurant management, strong leadership and budgeting skills, and a passion for our doughnuts. This on-site role offers a dynamic team environment and opportunities for growth within our expanding brand.

Salary Range: $60,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually

With 21 locations across 9 states, we're looking for unique individuals who thrive in a fast-paced growth environment and share our love for out-of-this-world doughnuts.

As the General Manager, you'll have the unique opportunity to build and shape the brand's presence in this market, while also delivering the iconic doughnut experience that Voodoo Doughnut is known for. In addition to the day-to-day responsibilities outlined in the job posting, you'll also be responsible for hiring and training a new team of doughnut makers and service staff, creating and executing a marketing plan to drive traffic to the store, and developing relationships with local businesses and organizations to increase brand awareness. You'll have the autonomy to make strategic decisions and to bring your personal brand of enthusiasm and creativity to this new venture. With the support of the Voodoo Doughnut leadership team, you'll have access to the resources and tools needed to succeed, and the freedom to take ownership of the store and drive it to success while creating a culture of excellence amongst your team.

As the ideal candidate, you're an experienced General Manager with a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, creating and executing successful marketing plans, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. To qualify for this position, you should have at least 4 years of restaurant management or bakery production experience and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. You should be able to read and react to P/L, have experience with ordering and inventory systems, and understand how to run a guest-focused business. Additionally, you should have a flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and be able to handle physical requirements such as lifting heavy objects and working with cleaning chemicals.
