The role involves completing substitute teacher training, delivering LifeWise lessons as needed, implementing provided curricula, maintaining a safe and orderly classroom, and adhering to discipline policies. You will also maintain attendance records and serve as a community ambassador.

Qualifications

• Must have mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students.

Responsibilities

• Complete substitute teacher training.
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis.
• Implement the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher.
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom following LifeWise policies and procedures.
• Follow the program's student discipline policy.
• Maintain attendance records and report to the teacher.
• Keep the classroom clean, attractive and well-ordered; know emergency procedures.
• Act as a LifeWise Academy ambassador and coordinate lesson plans with volunteers and the teacher.

Job Description

• Complete substitute teacher training
• Teach LifeWise classes on an as-needed basis
• Implement the lesson plans using the LifeWise curriculum provided by the teacher
• Maintain a safe, organized and stimulating classroom environment following LifeWise policies and procedures
• Follow the program's student discipline policy

• Take attendance in each class and provide attendance records to the teacher
