Job summary

The SF-Marin Food Bank is seeking a Volunteer Services Operations Coordinator to support expanding volunteer programs and CalFresh Community Works program. You will coordinate intake, onboarding, tracking, and reporting for volunteer hours and participant outcomes, serving as the main contact for internal teams and external partners.

This role requires strong organization, customer service, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years direct service experience or 1-2 years customer service experience.
• Experience working with volunteers is preferred.
• Spanish or Cantonese language capacity preferred.
• Experience engaging with communities facing food insecurity or poverty.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer referrals and placements from county agencies.
• Act as primary liaison for internal Community Partnerships team.
• Lead volunteer orientation and onboarding.
• Accurately track hours and report on aggregate hours and participants.
• Coordinate with Operations and Programs staff and verify participant information.
