Job summary

The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank seeks a Volunteer Services Coordinator, CalFresh, to support expanding volunteer engagement and manage the CalFresh Community Works Program. You will coordinate participant intake, track hours, and ensure accurate documentation.

This is a warehouse-based role in San Francisco with a fixed-term full-time contract ending 2028-07-31. Starting salary is $29.20–$30.11 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Direct Service Experience or 1-2 years customer service experience.
• Experience working with volunteers.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Spanish or Cantonese language capacity preferred.
• Ability to carry up to 20 pounds of materials.

Responsibilities

• Manage referral process and ongoing placements from various county agencies.
• Act as primary liaison for internal Community Partnerships team.
• Lead volunteer orientation and onboarding.
• Accurately track hours; upload weekly to county and report on totals.
