The SF-Marin Food Bank is seeking a Volunteer Services Operations Coordinator to support expanding volunteer programs and CalFresh Community Works program. You will coordinate intake, onboarding, tracking, and reporting for volunteer hours and participant outcomes, serving as the main contact for internal teams and external partners.

The Volunteer Services Operations Coordinator is a new position created to support the Food Bank’s expanding volunteer engagement efforts with external partners. A portion of this role will support the CalFresh Community Works Program (CCWP), the Food Bank’s response to evolving CalFresh work requirements. This role will also collaborate with Food Bank teams who support external partners via the volunteer program at the Food Bank as we are uniquely positioned to serve as a key community resource through one of the largest volunteer programs in San Francisco and Marin.
This role will serve as the primary coordinator for the CalFresh Community Works program, and work with the Senior Volunteer Project Manager to coordinate participant intake, program administration, tracking and reporting for court ordered & SFMTA required volunteering program. The coordinator will act as the central point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless participant experience while supporting accurate documentation and program reporting.

Together with more than 250+ community partners, we work to address hunger head-on through a coordinated network of neighborhood food pantries, CalFresh enrollment, home-delivered groceries, and policy and advocacy efforts. We work with our community to provide food for people facing hunger today while working to end the hunger of tomorrow. This fiscal year, we are serving 42,000 households per week. This position is set in a warehouse work environment. The position is fixed-term full-time anticipated to end on July 31, 2028. The starting salary for this position ranges from $29.20-30.11, with exact salary depending on experience.
