Job summary

The University of Michigan Health-Sparrow is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator to support Volunteer Services by coordinating recruitment, onboarding, placement, compliance, and ongoing operations. Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and background checks
• Manage placement, scheduling, and liaison with department trainers and staff
• Develop volunteer communications, newsletters, and notices
• Maintain volunteer records and compliance documentation
• Generate reports on participation, compliance, and service activity
• Provide customer service and confidential handling of volunteer information
