Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher for grades 6-12 who can demonstrate in-depth Bible knowledge and outstanding teaching abilities. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and is caring, committed, and proficient in teaching.

The role requires a minimum of two years of classroom teaching, a mature Christian faith aligned with our Statement of Faith, and active local church involvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Teach LifeWise Classes using age-appropriate LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters with health and permission notes.
• Maintain an organized, respectful classroom and implement redemptive discipline.
• Communicate with program director and school personnel; participate in events and updates.
• Engage with students through relationships, prayer, and refugee support (as applicable).
