Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated secondary education teacher to provide Bible-based instruction for grades 6-12. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, strong communication skills, and a mature Christian faith aligned with our beliefs.

The role requires active local church involvement, participation in LifeWise training and events, and a commitment to using LifeWise curricula and policies to foster a redemptive, engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience.
• A mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Attend the LifeWise Summit annually.
• Attend at least one Teachers' Lounge or Meet-Up per year.
• Stay updated on training by checking LifeWise email.
• Teach LifeWise classes using the LifeWise curriculum.
• Apply LifeWise policies and resources in lesson plans.
• Invest in relationships with students and pray for them.
• Maintain organized, redemptive classroom environment.
• Prioritize student engagement in lessons.
• Keep accurate attendance and class rosters.
• Prepare lesson plans and materials for substitutes.
• Communicate with program director and school personnel as needed.
• Promote LifeWise's religious mission in all duties.
