Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a dedicated teacher for grades 6-12 who can demonstrate deep Bible knowledge and strong instructional skills in a classroom setting. The role emphasizes faith-aligned teaching, caring mentorship, and effective communication within a local church community.

The ideal candidate will complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, participate in annual LifeWise Summit, and foster engaging, redemptive learning environments while building lasting relationships

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church.
• Mature personal Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church aligning with LifeWise's beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map curriculum customization.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and class rosters.
• Maintain an organized, age-appropriate classroom with redemptive discipline.
• Communicate with program director and build relationships with volunteers.
