Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated secondary education teacher to deliver Bible-based instruction to grades 6-12. The ideal candidate demonstrates in-depth Bible knowledge, strong teaching abilities, and active church participation.

Responsibilities include completing LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, participating in annual LifeWise Summit, and engaging with students through relational teaching and redemptive discipline.

Qualifications

• Two years of classroom teaching experience with students in school or church settings.
• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities

• Complete LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days of start date.
• Teach LifeWise classes using LifeWise curriculum and map lessons.
• Maintain accurate attendance and class rosters with health notes and permissions.
• Keep the classroom organized, safe, and aligned with program values.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; share updates and stories.
