Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks a dedicated teacher to deliver Bible-based instruction to students in grades 6–12. Candidates should be active church participants with strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring, committed approach to teaching.

The role includes completing LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days, participating in annual LifeWise Summit, and maintaining organized records and engaging with students through relational, redemptive classroom practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in either a school or church setting.
• Active personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training: Complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days of the start date and prior to teaching in the LifeWise classroom.
• Teach LifeWise Classes: Utilize the LifeWise curriculum to lesson plan and map curriculum customization; apply LifeWise policies and resources.
• Maintain Records: Keep accurate student attendance records and class rosters including health concerns and permissions.
• Maintain the Classroom: Create an organized, welcoming classroom environment and manage emergency procedures.
• Communicate: Act as LifeWise Academy ambassador and maintain dialogue with school personnel and volunteers.
